Hey Queen, welcome to the AdornedbyJay experience: where every detail is designed with you in mind. We're here to get you adorned beyond your imagination through styles that not only elevate your look but honour your essence. Before we begin your journey with us, we kindly ask that you take a moment to review and agree to our terms and conditions. This helps us create the best experience possible for you and every Queen we serve.
Appointment Booking
a. Appointments can be made via our Instagram page or by simply booking through this website.
b. While we aim to make every appointment convenient and tailored to you, please ensure you provide accurate details at the time of booking, including any special requests. to help us serve you better.
c. To secure your appointment, a 20% non-refundable deposit is required at the time of booking. This deposit confirms your commitment and will be applied toward your final service total. While desposits are generally non-refundable, refunds may be considered under exceptional circumstances at the discretion of AdornedbyJay.
d. A touch of courtesy goes a long way! if you need to cancel or reschedule, please give it at least 48 hours' notice to avoid any fees. Short-notice reschedules (less than 48 hours) may be treated as a cancellation and subject to full loss of deposit, or as business requires.
Rescheduling Terms
e. You may reschedule once at no additional cost if your new appointment falls within 4 weeks of the original date. Any additional reschedules will incur a fee of £15 to secure a new slot.
f. If you choose to move your appointment outside of the 4-week window, your original booking will be cancelled, and a new deposit will be required to secure your new slot.
No-Shows and Repeat Cancellations
g. Missed appointments and repeated cancellations or reschedules may result in limited access to future bookings. Please be considerate when booking to ensure your availability and readiness for your service.

We currently work from a home studio- a comfortable, lean, and peaceful space created with you in mind. However, if you'd prefer to be styled in the comfort of your own home, I also offer mobile/ home appointments for added flexibility.
• A base call-out fee of £10 covers travel within 5km.
• An additional £5 is added for every 5km beyond that.
• Travel fees will be calculated and confirmed upon booking based on your location.
Please ensure a clean, well-lit space is available with access to a power outlet.
5. Client Responsibilities
a. Let us know if you have any allergies, sensitivities, or pre-existing hair conditions.
b. It is really your responsibility to follow post-service care instructions provided by us to maintain the quality of the hair braiding or styling.
6. Liability
a. While we aim to provide top notch services, we can't be held responsible for any allergic reactions, injuries, or mishaps that occur due to undisclosed information or neglect of post-service care instructions.
b. Queens, please understand that hair braiding and styling carry natural risks, and we cannot be held responsible for any dissatisfaction stemming from factors like hair texture, condition, or personal preferences.
